From the motorway A1 exit at Firenze Certosa
Follow the signs to the centre (Centro) until Piazza Porta Romana
Take Viale Franceso Petrarca then right onto Via del Leone
Right again onto Borgo San Frediano then immediate left into Piazza di Cestello

By plane
From the airport the easiest way to reach our hotel is for us to organise a private driver. Please let us know when booking. Alternatively you can take a taxi (approx 25 euros) or arrive with the public shuttle bus which stops at Santa Maria Novella train station

By train
From Santa Maria Novella train station you can take a taxi or walk to Hotel Relais Il Cestello in about 20 minutes. The simplest way is to cross the piazza outside the station and turn left down Via dell’Albero continuing until the river. Cross the river via Amerigo Vespucci Bridge and then turn left along Lungarno Soderini. Within a few minutes you’ll reach Piazza di Cestello.
